Baseband processor's firewall - Cell Site Simulator / IMSI Catcher Alert

Two cell site simulator/IMSI catcher alerts were received in Rangiora district while at one location in the morning and evening, 11 Jan 2017.

The baseband processor's firewall Tracking Alert in the CP500i Cryptophone reported: Very High suspicion level with alert message "Location Update completed without any Ciphering" which means a location update was completed but no ciphering was seen; the alert is treated as a sign of an IMSI catcher operating against the phone.
